Conatus – Journal of Philosophy is a biannual, diamond open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Available in both print and electronic formats, the journal is dedicated to promoting original philosophical research across a broad spectrum of topics.
Conatus – Journal of Philosophy is published regularly twice per year, in June and December. The Journal maintains a consistent publication schedule in accordance with recognised standards of academic publishing and editorial management, ensuring the timely publication, dissemination, and long-term availability of scholarly research.
Conatus – Journal of Philosophy is owned and published by the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Under a formal cooperation agreement with the National Documentation Centre (EKT), the journal is hosted on EKT’s ePublishing infrastructure and uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for electronic submission, editorial management, and publication. EKT provides the journal’s technical hosting, digital publishing infrastructure, metadata dissemination, and associated preservation services; it does not exercise editorial control or act as the journal’s publisher. Editorial responsibility and publishing authority remain exclusively with the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory.
Long-term preservation is supported through the PKP Preservation Network, while persistent identifiers are registered through Crossref.
