Open Access Policy

Conatus - Journal of Philosophy is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Conatus - Journal of Philosophy provides immediate open access to its content at no cost either for the author, or for the reader. The Journal's aim and mission is to make original philosophical research freely available, to facilitate exchange of ideas and inspire engagement in philosophical debates. To this purpose authors are encouraged to deposit their articles, as well as data underlying the publications, to institutional and/or other appropriate subject repositories under a Creative Commons BY-NC license. Permitted reuse is defined by a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
